It is with great pride that I announce the new feature on RandomProblem.dev – Idea Validation Reports!

Did you ever see an idea on the site that piqued your interest? Maybe you wanted to dive deeper, to better understand the problem space, potential threats, competitors?

Now you can generate a full idea validation report, that has the following information:

• SWOT analysis – The idea’s Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities and Threats, a standard way to evaluate ideas
• Market Analysis – Information about the Total Addressable Market, customer profile and differentiator
• Competitor Landscape – The largest competitors in the space, along with their strengths, weaknesses and their pricing model
• Validation Playbook – Research questions that need answering for validation, user interview questions to help validate with potential customers, and a step-by-step validation playbook

Right now you can generate any number of validation reports if you’re a registered user, so go wild!

This has been a really fun thing to implement, it’s using Perplexity AI’s API in the background with a pretty complex prompt to pull out all the information you might want to see related to the idea and SaaS solution.
